A Door Has Opened

A door has opened, and we will forever be influenced by the message of one man: a follower of Christ, a father, a husband, a young man with a passion for this country who was brutally assassinated for what he believed.

My grandson's wife worked for Charlie Kirk at Turning Point, and she can testify to his integrity. He lived what he believed, and the question lingers: Are we?

A bullet killed a man, but it will never silence the message he carried. We're watching something miraculous happen all across this nation as a result of this. A door has opened. Not a crack, like in this photo. It's opened wide. A tsunami of fresh conviction is bursting through all the old, musty barriers. A flood is coming! In this we can rejoice.

Psalm 23 ends with this: "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me..." The message of Charlie's life will follow him. What message will follow your life? What will you be remembered for? Your accumulations? Your wealth? Your prestige? Will you be remembered for keeping quiet or being politically correct? Will you be remembered for not getting involved, never taking a chance, or blindly following the current culture? Will you be remembered for standing for the Truth found in God's Word? Will you be remembered for your faith and for your unwavering devotion to Christ?

Will you walk through the door God has opened, or remain seated in pews with your mouth muzzled by the mask of lukewarmness? Will you walk through the door God has opened and dare to speak up for what is moral and just? Will you dare to share the Gospel wherever you go--even at the risk of losing your job, or being misunderstood?

There's no message louder than this: It's time to stand up for what we believe. It's time to sleep. It's time to pick up our cross and follow Jesus. God is doing something miraculous in this nation. We can either jump in--or stay comfortable and be left behind.

God bless you. May you prosper in health, and your soul prospers.
