The story behind the story: I was inspired to create this book when my grandson, Owen, was learning to go potty. He was living in California at the time, and Grandma Mimmy was in New York. So far away! One way I kept in contact with him was to send him little stories.. At first, my creations were very primitive, but as he grew, so did his Mimmy's illustrations.
Owen's mommy and daddy gave him a bright red fireman's hat as a prize for being a big boy in the bathroom. His beloved fireman hat became the object for the next story . . . Baby Moose and the Shiny Red Fireman Hat.
Baby Moose will bring a giggle to every child learning potty habits, and those who already have them conquered. The story emphasizes washing hands and not being afraid to try. Ages 2-6.
