Beautiful, Marji! I especially liked this portion: It’s the reality that you must recreate your life, or be left defined by loss alone.

I love your blog, and your house is so cute but I always loved it. I don't have a way to put pictures on mine but I would like to soon. Wayne's wife Korana is good at this stuff but also very busy. I have some pictures for you. I think you will love them. They are from Jon and Virginia's graduation.

I am certainly in the 95%, too. I laughed at the bit about looking at old photos that you remember previously obsessing about being too fat in and realizing now how thin you actually were - what the heck is up with that!?!? Why do we allow this self-loathing to take up space in our minds? Why can't we see ourselves through an unobscured lens? Being a photographer has taught me to see things differently - to see the beauty in everything around me and it is a most fantastic state of mind to dwell in. Unfortunately, I have not been able to turn that perspective on when looking at myself.

Great pictures Marji! I think I can relate. Humor is healing. So glad God allows us to look at ourselves and laugh. Through that laughter we learn to ease up on ourselves and let God change us to see how He sees us.
