This print was given to me at a time when striving was all I knew to do. I prayed for God to give me understanding, then I had a dream. In the dream, I was being pursued by the Lover of my soul. When I embraced him, the cry of my heart became: “What is your name?” He replied, “My name is Grace.” When I awakened, I grabbed a pencil and paper and sketched what I had seen. It became the name of my ministry: Embracing Grace. Someone asked me one time, “Why not draw him with an aura around his head?” I replied, “Many claim to be anointed and have an aura of light; but only one was willing to wear a crown of thorns.
